We are excited to announce that we have achieved SBE Certification or a Small Business Enterprise supplier status for the state of California. Officially listed on Cal eProcure, California’s online marketplace, this SBE certification allows us to partner with state, city and government offices as well as public utilities such as gas, phone, water and electricity for all their uniform rental needs.

The state of California established the SBE certification program as a means to increase business opportunities for the small business community. The program helps small businesses participate on a more level playing field when competing for state contracts. For a firm to be eligible, they must be independently owned and operated, principally located within California, and maintain a workforce of 200 or fewer employees. California state government requires state agencies to award at least 25 percent of their annual contracting dollars to certified small businesses and may also give up to 5 percent bid preference to them.
As a California certified small business, Kleen Kraft Services has been added to the Cal eProcure database as a uniform service supplier within Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego counties.
